Black Sabbath - a song I like a lot, as Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is a great record. This version is friggin'dark, way more spaced than the original. Good choice. As is the choice to go in depth about Master of Puppets, I must put that album on once more. Single songs don't do it for me now.
Annihilation Process - Morbid Saint on Municipal Waste speeds haha, I like this. It's filthy, fast and fun.
Xentrix - having seen them last week alters my then-said opinion a little bit. This is more like latter Accept or old Testament than the 'eternal Metalllica-feel' they had live. Mind you, it's not bad, but I don't think I'll buy it. If they do show up on a festival, I might look again
Even in Death - Evile, mid-era Kreator and ...Ensiferum? Uh OK.
Casket Robbery - death metal it is. I'd think it'd be blunt but not so technical haha. Pretty modern.
Ingested - Aardschok CD of the month, I've read. Nice timing to get that heard Sounds like YYrkoon mixed with Orphanage or old Cradle of Filth or both
Vomit Forth - TBDM on extra amphetamines, as if they NEED more amphetamines
KiaRa - I must admit I haven't heard much female fronted metal anymore since I was greatly disappointed by Epica's Retrospect. This one sings like Tarja, the band is more like MaYaN. Also Within Temptation, of course, comes to mind. Het zal wel. Same as Ravenlight - Stormbreaker (albeit the latter more in the feel of Children of Bodom)
Broken Side - when I looked at the preview on YT I thought of tough hardcore, but it is slightly different. More Disturbed than Madball, I'll pass. Sorry.
--- I missed a few tracks working on a search-job I had to do with my ears nearly turned off. The Epica song is a continuation of what the band did over the years, in velocity, nice vocals, sharp vokills, melody, choirs, excellent rhythm section but I've lost my interest for Epica, I guess. I've heard it all before, slightly different but the same. Respect for the band and what they achieved in 20 odd years, I'm finished.
