Dust Bolt was supposed to be thrash?? This is more like pop >< Mephobia - like Aborted, guys? Cool. Bonestorm - Jungle Rot called to the butchers Firekeeper - a bit too corey for me (now) Sovereign - hey, did Riley Gale get up from the dead? This is cool! Evoking Winds - old Enslaved mixed with latter After Forever Judas Priest - still friggin'strong! I hear some Megadeth too, could be the tired me though Brodequin - soooo heavy! Doom has definitely become more diverse over the years Houwitser - haven't heard/seen the Dutchies in a long time, they sound stronger now than before Skeletal Remains - they keep stirring me up. Live a great band!! Phlegmesis (sp?) - Winter gone grind ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Firewind - uhhh not now ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Mean Messiah - reminds me of Shotgun Messiah, or are these blokes the same ones? Aborted - groove as grind can gore ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Atrophy - more aggressive than before, I have to get used to it more Shellshock - thrashy death, like it Khold - wasn't that Alan's or Angie's favorite band of some MDF? I think of doom at that show ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) this is more like Rammstein Merrimack - no idea. Really. Leaves' Eyes - After Forever did this better Hideous Divinity - never dug this band, I can't even sum up where I've seen them or missed them. Just like I can't keep up with Misery Index.

FKU - Savage Messiah pretending to be Rage? Anubis - Judas Priest (Ripper era) meets some speed metal dude Messiah - where have the thrashing death maniacs gone? This is too slow for an old Messiah fan like me Slimelord - proper stoner or just a bit faster? ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Coffins - this is really cool. We've been playing Coffins a lot since we first saw them together. This is exactly what I expected of the Japanese doomsters ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

Lol Herman is going to hate this week aside from maybe one band. This is more rock oriented.

Mwhoah, I can have me some rock, as AC/DC is.. yeah right. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Sonata Arctica - typically a Thirza band. I've never had much with this band Sonic Wolves - bring in Black Crowes and Peter Pan Speedrock Night Verses - this is a very, very melodic trip to Queensryche Custard Flix - R.E.M.? Foo Fighters? The Quill - I've seen them once as support act to AC/DC. Man was I happy to be in charge of the beers back then, I kept walking up to the bar not to have to see this ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Attic - the masters of Mercyful Fate and (US) Pentagram worship return! Surgical Strike - thrashy! Exodus anyone? Witch Vomit - nice and dirty, this could be a purchase Ingested - very technical, hardly any death left? Hour of Penance - quite intense, as if Behemoth turned Italian. Nice music to study or workout to. ... and I bought the new Judas Priest a few days ago, hasn't left the CD player since. Nearly as good as Painkiller!! So far, high in my album of the year list. [as if I remember every CD I bought/listened in a year ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ]

I liked the Witch Vomit record quite a bit. gonna have to relisten. Didn't like the Vulture singles I've heard. The sound is there, but the songs just aren't nearly as catchy as the first album. Its such a shame.

Spiritual Deception - very fuzzy Benighted - haven't heard that in a long time. Groove OK, vocals not enough differing from Aborted Vulture - Attic meets Saxon? Nice. Necrot - reminds me of faster Fleshcrawl songs Engulfed - Vader, Dying Fetus and Morbid Angel, for fans. I'd stick to Vader, I think Thirsting Altar - Nevermore meets (Dutch) Altar? Deicide - I've been wanting to hear new Benton for quite some time, as they come to Stonehenge this year and I've got to be prepared ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) The guitar work is great. Vesperian Sorrow - Dragonforce gone goth? Nah, not for me In Vain - I hear some mid-era Paradise Lost in this part, vocally it comes close to PL's first Disbelief - hard to put a finger on this band. They've blown me away and shooed me off, I'm not their biggest fan. 66Sick is a great album, this one might grow on me
