Nocturnal Pulse is the name to describe the bass player on CoF's Vempire. It's also in a lyric somewhere on Dusk and Her Embrace album. I remember it being a very good part too.
Also, Neko needs not a bath robe, but a Bathory robe.

Doom is prob my least favorite Metal sub genre (with a few exceptions), along with Sludge, Stoner, Noise and anything Core. My Metal buddy at work loves the Sludge style nut not the Doom like My Dying Bride. The guys on the Brit side of Doom prob smell like dead flowers and incense and the Sludge guys prob smell like dirty, damp clothes. lolz

When it comes to doom, I hardly get pass Black Sabbath, Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus, Officium Triste, some Asphyx songs and the Big Three of English Doom. I have to be in a VERY specific mood to doom...
I've seen Candlemass with Messiah Marcolin, Robert Lowe and with Mats Levén; the show with Marcolin was the funniest.
You do know The Gathering started off as a doom band, right? They were the first ones to incorporate female vocals into death-doom. The Gathering with Anneke was poppy, dreamy and hardly metal and especially no doom.
